 South Metro Community Services is a 501 (C3) Nonprofit Recovery Community Organization.  We strive to connect individuals with substance use disorder to vital resources tailored to each persons unique needs, We fight together to empower autonomy and decrease stigma.

Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) Scope of Practice & Ethical Boundaries

 Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS) provide non-clinical support to individuals in recovery, helping them navigate their recovery journey through lived experience, mentorship, and advocacy.

AmeriCorps Members are trained to serve in nonprofits and public agencies to offer peer support and project management to help expand capacity and make recovery possible for more Americans.
